You would not believe your eyes.

Yes, Yu-Gi-Oh! again. I've noticed from watching the Japanese dub of the anime that some of the characters actually had named special abilities that had nothing to do with cards (though many of them were actually made into cards for the OCG/TCG). So, in the interests of having nothing better to do, I've decided to catalogue them below for your reading pleasure. Note that the names of the techniques were in English to begin with, they haven't been translated from Japanese. Name: Mind Crush User: Yami no Yūgi Effect: This is the only technique whose name was carried over into the English dub (though only used once, whereas the Japanese version has him say the name every time he uses it), but it's rather vague as to what the effect actually is. Oh baby, here comes the sound! So I thought, on a whim, since I've been into Yu-Gi-Oh! lately, I'd make a list of all the cards that have a mind-control/hypnosis "theme" in the series. The format will go like this: Name: The official English name of the card. Japanese Name: The Japanese name of the card, if it differs from the English name. Translation: A literal translation of the Japanese name of the card, if needed. Type: The type of the card. Level: The number of level stars the card has, if it's a Monster Card. Stats: If it's a Monster Card, the stats will go here. The first number is Attack, the second is Defense. Description: A description of the card's effect, or the card's flavour text in the case of a Normal Monster Card. Name: Alien Brain Type: Trap Description: Activate only when a Reptile-Type monster you control is destroyed by battle with an opponent's attacking monster and sent to the Graveyard.
