Like Rise in the game before her, she was also originally meant to be an actual party member, rather than just the navigator. There's evidence to suggest that Akechi was also originally going to be a permanent party member. There is a mouse model for Akechi fully programmed in the game files, despite the fact that the "mouse" status effect is never available while Akechi is in the party, and there are sound files within the game for Akechi summoning Loki normally, in both Japanese and English, with code existing for him to be able to use Loki as a playable Persona instead of Robin Hood. I don't often post character profiles here, but I do have a special place in my heart for all the roleplay characters I've created over the years. In particular, there's a set of 12 characters all named after months of the year, who were initally created as transforming magical girls but don't tend to do a lot of that, really. Musical Misappropriations Because ranting about stuff people get wrong is a good way to make myself feel better. The song "Don't Worry, Be Happy" was not sung by Bob Marley. The singer, Bobby McFerrin, isn't even Jamaican - he's American, and he's putting on a fake Jamaican accent during the song (that isn't his real singing voice). Also, the song is actually supposed to be satirical (you've got all these serious, non-trivial problems, but don't worry, be happy!), not a genuine feel-good song like many people interpret it as. "Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M. was not written about the death of Kurt Cobain, as even some magazines and newspapers have falsely reported. Twilight's Vocabulary - A Guide I've been meaning to do this forever but kept putting it off. Now I'm finally doing it. All my strange turns of phrase and character tics, documented here for your not-reading pleasure. This is written in third person, mainly because I wanted to style it like I'm some kind of strange creature (which is true) or video game character (which I wish were true) or something like that. Pointless trivia about Mega Man. I may have done this before, but I'm doing it again anyway. Some of the names considered for the main character in development were Battle Kid, Mighty Kid and Knuckle Kid. The first game was originally going to be called The Battle Rainbow Rock Man, in reference to Rock/Mega Man changing colours when he used a different Robot Master power. Zero was originally the design for Mega Man X. Keiji Inafune designed the main character of the Mega Man X series to look like Zero originally, but it was thought that having the main character look too different from classic Mega Man might alienate fans, so the original X design was reworked as a different character and Inafune made the actual Mega Man X look closer to his classic counterpart. Inafune would get his wish to have Zero be the main character when the MegaMan Zero series began. Pointless trivia about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Yes, I'm finally doing it. The author of the manga, Hirohiko Araki, really likes dogs. His go-to way of showing that a character is pure evil is usually to have them hurt or kill a dog (such as Dio Brando killing Jonathan's beloved dog Danny in Phantom Blood). He also really likes Western music, which is why a lot of characters and Stands are named after Western bands, albums or songs. He's even said that he prefers it to Japanese music. This is why a lot of the names had to be changed when the series was localised in English, since there would have been copyright problems if they hadn't done so (even in Japan, some of the names skirt dangerously close to the "copyright" line). During filming of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, they got through over 100 wand props because Daniel Radcliffe kept using them as drumsticks between takes and breaking them. I'm doing more pointless trivia about Sonic the Hedgehog for no one to read. If you manage to input the very difficult level select code in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (you need to press up, up, down, down, up, up, up, up at the title screen between the time Sonic appears on screen and when the screen flashes white, which is about half a second), you might notice that Flying Battery is listed, despite not being a level in Sonic the Hedgehog 3, only in Sonic & Knuckles. This is because Flying Battery was originally meant to come between Carnival Night Zone and Ice Cap Zone - the end of level transition in Carnival Night with Sonic being shot out of the cannon would have had him landing on the deck of the Flying Battery, and the end-of-level cutscene of Flying Battery would have led directly to Ice Cap, with Sonic using the door he knocked off the Flying Battery as a snowboard.
