Avoid listening to any files with the name of a certain Disney movie about a deer (colloquially referred to as Disney Deer files, or DD files). They are designed to create an alter with that name in whoever listens to them, who will slowly take them over. The files market themselves as just a fantasy, but they are designed enough in a way where that fantasy becomes reality, and if you're not prepared for that or okay with it, it can actually do genuine psychological harm to you. Plus, the triggers are extremely common and open, with no safeties attached to them whatsoever.

Twilight's List of Hypno-Predators and Hypno-Abusers

The following is a list of all people I know to be predators, abusers, or just general assholes, as well as some known victims/recruiters. Hopefully this will be helpful to some people.

What is a predator? The definition varies, but basically it's someone who uses hypnosis irresponsibly and recklessly, with no concern for the well-being or safety of their subjects.

Predators offer you everything in the world - company, excitement, love, fun, anything you'd want - but it's all a ruse. They do it to keep you close - to keep you ensnared. They make you doubt yourself, they make you feel like you'd be nothing without them - they cut you off from every other option. Whatever they might seem to offer you, is toxic - it comes at too great a cost. Remember: "No amount of love is worth any amount of abuse."

Wondering how to spot a predator? Look for these signs (thanks to Psyonide for putting this on his tumblr!)

1. They tend to come off as entirely selfless, with no concern for themselves at all.
2. They are not likely to share any details about themselves at all. Not a one. If you find yourself realizing that you don’t actually know anything about this person aside from how they act around you, that would be a big red flag in general. They may provide superficial details and change the subject whenever it comes up. If someone appears to have interest in you, you should have just as much interest in them.
3. What they say makes total logical sense. This can be a very tricky one. If what they say seems to make sense, but feels unintuitive, it probably is. “Oh, just ditch my friends and family? Makes sense the way you say it!” This is a logical thing to do sometimes, of course. Primarily when you’re in an abusive situation. Generally that would involve cutting off specific ties, not everyone. This is an easy enough problem to get around; just run everything the potential predator says past the most compassionate and empathic person you know. If it is logical but ultimately a betrayal of yourself or others, then that is something you need to be aware of.

That is the one thing a predator cannot control: How betrayed the people who care about you will feel.

1. EvilPsychiatrist (a.k.a. Petruccio, NeuralNet, brainlessbecki, MindFogger, Decognition, MistyGwen, BimboVirus)
Just an asshole who's not even worth bothering with. Basically a tyrant too - he bans everyone from his room (I'm not even going to mention the name) who doesn't agree with him. No skill as a hypnotist either. Why people actually let him control them, I have no idea. Got banned from the server for making murder threats to people in PM. What he actually does is conditioning: his thing has always been to condition behaviours and feelings with physical actions by taking over common, overlooked physical behaviours, and conditioning thoughts or feelings to them is how he controls people. It also means that his stuff is not hypnosis, so normal hypnosis protection does not work, and it does not stop once the session is over. He is very much a fan of Pavlovian-style trigger response conditioning, and also can be an expert at NLP when he wants to be. He is a terrible hypnotist, but a brilliant and dangerous conditioner, so best avoided. Though he isn't on IRC anymore, he is still active on tumblr as neuralnetsandprettypatterns, still doing the same stuff.
Tl;dr Why is he dangerous? Conditioning. His files work by linking certain feelings/thoughts to incredibly common behaviours (examples include: looking at a clock, noticing a part of your body, or blinking). This means that it's very hard to reverse the effects once you've listened to the file, and the files themselves are designed to be "addictive" (giving you a desire to listen to them again and again).

Has been constantly harassing TheSecretSubject, another well-known hypnotist, for about two years (as of this time of writing), including publicly smearing her, shaming her, sending his minions to flood her Tumblr with abuse and hateful comments and to her own server to spy on her, getting her banned from erotic hypnosis servers and attempting to get her banned from public hypnosis conventions, and just generally trying to ruin her reputation. Why? Because she had the sheer audacity to, umm... REPLY TO a post calling him out for not putting proper content warnings on his files (a practice he is openly against) and REBLOG a post which happened to contain his real FIRST name (and only his FIRST name, which is a very common first name, to boot) because that apparently counts as "doxxing" and "revealing sensitive private information". Note that the people who actually wrote those posts have not been attacked at all (though that's not to say that they should be).

2. Everything (No other names known)
Operates through brainwashing videos that make you submissive to him and also encourage you to pass them around and enslave other people.

3. Alteryourmind (a.k.a. reecep93, Master, TranceLord, Sandman, MidnightSleep, Sleeper, TheJoker)
Likes to collar people on the first trance and make them see him as their only dominant. Very pushy with suggestions and not the best hypnotist, either in skill or in morality. May or may not be banned from the server now. Also tries to create an alternate persona in his victims' minds, which is dominant to others but submissive and slutty towards himself, and which slowly takes over the victims' minds until it replaces their original personality completely. (Operative word here is "tries".) Has been banned multiple times and keeps coming back with new nicks. Has a hypnotic "depth test" which involves a suggestion that the subject has absolutely no limits and has also trained people to claim that they have known him for a long time, or met elsewhere, to mask the fact that he only just met them.

4. Mark Torres (a.k.a. mat2blue, Mistress Kim, Kim Jessup, hypno dude)
Hasn't been seen on IRC yet, but I've dealt with him in the past. Loves to hypnotise people into loving and obeying him unconditionally. Extorts money from slaves via hypnosis, occasionally tries to get them to move in with him. Has shown very little care for victims's well-being in the past, including trancing victims over the phone while they are at work or driving. Mainly copy-pastes trances, as he (like most predators) has very little skill in hypnosis himself.

5. TheScientist (Other names unknown)
Operates mainly through Yahoo! Messenger. Exact methods unknown, but created an IRC user known as brainslugged_girl (formerly lil_succubus) and has given her orders to find other hosts for him to "slug". She has been banned from the server for this reason on her own request due to feeling remorse for her actions, but being unable to resist due to her severe conditioning.. According to her, he has never visited IRC except once to reclaim her after she broke free of his control. In this context, a brainslug is an artificial construct inside the mind which creates a "slave" personality that overrides the original, or "host", personality.

6. Neurotica (a.k.a. Neuralicious, pleasuretreasure)
Likes to prey on loneliness and make people want to be around her more. Usually operates by getting victims high/drunk so their inhibitions and reasoning are lowered. Gives people weed which secretly has cocaine in it, getting them addicted to it (and therefore her) without even knowing why. Likes to make people wild and turn them into sluts. She sends pictures of herself and likes to make people exhibitionists and get them to send her pictures of themselves as well. She's very into being wild and sexual, and tries to get others to be like that too. Is a fan of EvilPsychiatrist's work and wanted him in her room to draw people in.

7. PammyJuggs (a.k.a. jessilov01, Pammy01, Karla, Lovelia)
Spams people with pastebins that are supposed to turn you into a completely obedient bimbo cow, then begs for pictures. If you are a female, he will then try and further enslave you and get you to go to his house. He will send someone a MzDominica enslavement file to listen to, then claim MzDominica wants them to go to California and live with him.

8. Diapergoddess (a.k.a. Diaper_Goddess, Stepford_Fox, Stepford_FoxDoll)
PMs people and starts a trance instantly without saying anything, tries to make subjects incontinent (even if they don't want to be) and forget that she tried to trance them. Spreads a dangerous file, tries to bypass sub's decision by using another personality (installed in the sub by her). Pushes outside the boundaries of subs, against their wishes.

10. LadyAda (a.k.a. mohawk1, swirldisland)
Tries to push past stated limits, get email and password info, get the sub to think of her as their SO, tries to get nude pics and more. "LadyAda" pretends to be swirldisland's girlfriend, but they're actually the same (male) person using a different nick.

11. MissEleanor (a.k.a. MistressDolly{MK}, supposedly two different personas but they have similar methods anyway)
NOTE: The following is mainly a cautionary note. MissEleanor/MistressDolly, unlike the others mentioned on this page, actually does mean well and care about her subs, but her personality and other aspects (detailed below) mean that inexperienced subs should still avoid her. Those who are experienced with hypnosis and being a sub are probably fine to submit to her, but should do it with a healthy dose of patience.
Mostly she uses files, lots of binaurals. She is of the belief that binaurals and noise cover the actual suggestions, so you can't hear them but the subconscious can. She is a fan of making robots, drones and personas (i.e. multiple personalities, which are quite a dangerous thing to create with hypnosis) that are loyal only to her. She is often neglectful and tends to do little with, or have no clear direction for, subs once she has them. The main problem is her ego far exceeds her actual ability, leading her to make a problem worse, or to do what she wants, thinking she knows best and is helping. She can't see her own faults - she will never admit to wrongdoing, and will actually alter, edit, and take logs out of context to try and frame or blame anyone that stands up to her, and release personal or private information to the general public in attempts to turn people against whoever draws her ire. If she is not a predator in the true sense of the word, she is at the very least dangerous for overreaching and being neglectful and is extremely untrustworthy. She threatens and lashes out in very unstable ways, from taking legal action to outright murder threats. This vengeful and unpredictable behaviour has gotten her banned from rooms, from the JustTrance server twice, and from the Cuff-Link server, and even rooms on her current IRC server (whose name I don't know and don't wish to find out). Because of all of these factors, it isn't just subjects, but anyone around her: friends, random people, those trying to help her, anyone around her is subject to her manipulations, abuses and lashings out, from accusations of poaching, to being or making drones, or even being a paedophile, or worse. She also attempts (usually unsuccessfully) to dox people (i.e. reveal their identity, real name and location, etc.) who incur her wrath (and in fact she did that to me in the comments on this blog post, which fortunately a friend of mine pointed out to me).

Mira (No other names)
Repeatedly attempts to violate hard limits, even after being told not to. Gets subjects deep in trance before asking permission to do things, so their judgement is compromised and they are less likely to be able/willing to refuse. This may not be the same Mira as the one who goes on JustTrance occasionally.

mcontroller02
Shares pictures of underage teens in order to "corrupt" people. If you are sent a link to an image in a PM by him, DO NOT OPEN IT. In some countries (including the UK), you can get in trouble just for viewing child pornography, even if you didn't know what it was when you opened it. He claims to like to corrupt people, which basically means trying to brainwash them into getting aroused by child porn.

Karla (a.k.a. Lovelia, MasterJose)
Multiple reports of triggering people without consent, and not getting consent in general. Attempted to intentionally steal a sub from someone else. Sends people scripts which try to trance the reader into giving him personal information about themselves.

Outrageous Hypnotist (no other names known)
Operates through YouTube videos. Has a video which installs a trance trigger and hypnotises the viewer into sending him an email with their real name, gender, date of birth and contact details. The title of the video is intentionally misleading (it includes the word "safe"), tricking people into thinking that it's harmless when it's not. Hush (No other names known)
I'll let this testimony (from a friend of one of his victims) speak for itself. "On the very first day with that tist, he made my friend forget who she was, when she was called her name she said "Please don't call me that.. call me "nothing". She called the tist Master, she called herself his slave, she had been collared, she wouldn't talk to us, she didn't want to talk about anything he did, she refused help, any time she tried to talk about the bad things he did she couldn't, she didn't know her favorite music genre, she had this urge to go back to him all the time, I had to hypnotically take that out. All of this was implanted on the same day. Also, in the first trance, he told her to take her top off (with cam on), she said "i'm uncomfortable", he dropped her, made her comfortable with it, then asked her again, she did it."

b---ibimbobarbie (No other names known) (Name censored due to containing a common trigger)
Uploaded a series of very predatory bimbo videos to pornhub, filled with malicious suggestions - memory modification, arousal booster, forced addiction/repeated watching, changing the kind of men you like, etc.

Solamnus (No other names known)
Drops people on Skype calls without their permission. Encouraged a bulimic person to go further into their mental illness, and made them make a video for him of them vomiting into a public bathroom toilet and repeating a mantra about how important it is to be thin to be pretty.

Ano_Mal_Lee (No other names known)
Doesn't respect boundaries, tries to get the sub to tell him their secrets. Very rude and disrespectful.

Hypno-Obey (a.k.a. MasterAlpha, Trey, AlphaPupHypno, AllJustBeingRandom, AllJustBeingGay, CORE Trey, DogMeat, GoofballTrey, PuppyAwoo, Trey Claine, Trey Daniels)
Taken from a Tumblr post (proofread by me): "Everyone, please stay away from Hypno-Obey/MasterAlpha/Trey (they are all the same person). A friend of mine who has been working with him recently told him that he didn’t want to continue, and Trey’s response was to trigger him and make it hurt him to even think of leaving. Now this kid (who for his personal privacy will remain nameless - if he chooses to reply to this message, that is his choice), he is currently bawling because he doesn’t understand what happened, he doesn’t understand why thinking about leaving is hurting, he has expressed that this is what he wants, and what is healthy for him but now the very idea is hurting him. Trey is not a good person and has been told many times privately and publicly. Now many people will chastise me for speaking publicly, but I have tried in private as have others and he has not changed, and this sweet kid is crying because of Trey basically raping him. So I am not going to stay quiet any longer."
From others' testimonies, Trey has done this exact thing (i.e. hypnotise a victim so it hurts if they ever think of leaving him) to several other people too. He also almost made someone kidnap a homeless man through hypnosis/brainwashing (note that said person ended up being detained in jail for 48 hours for this and ended up hundreds of dollars in debt).
Trey also steals scripts from other hypnotists and uses them to put people under (a very common predator tactic, as the rest of this blog post will attest to).

Nimja (No other names known)
Violated consent by hypnotising a girl he went on a kinky date with, despite the fact she told him she didn't want to be hypnotised, and suggested her things which reportedly still make her angry and hurt to this day. Knowingly did sexual hypno stuff with a minor. Has also used his position as a very well-known and popular hypnotist to abuse many other people, all of whom were too afraid to come out against him because of his popularity and fear of being lynched by his many fans.

Toymaker (a.k.a. BPC, BudgetPlayerCadet, TheSoundOfSubmission)
Went against subs' explicit wishes on multiple occasions, including many instances of using coercion to make them give in. A sub hoarder (i.e. one who collects great numbers of subs), so very neglectful of subs (due to having so many), even when they are in serious need of attention. When called out on his actions, plays the victim and tries to make it all about him. (He once did this with a victim who was heavily suicidal at the time.)

Inky (a.k.a. Gunthor, Gunthor the Perilous)
Attempts to covertly install triggers without consent, as well as install separate personalities that are loyal only to him and can control the subject without consent, then tries to make his subject forget about the alternate personalities' existence. He likes to claim that his "evil hypnotist" shtick is just playing pretend. Has a "pet" who claims that he erased her previous personality and gave her a new one.

About 37 Hobos (No other names known)
Installs triggers without consent, attempts to coerce/force submission (including from people who are already loyal to someone else), violates boundaries and limits, shows little if any concern for subs (including flat-out ignoring a sub who clearly needed aftercare). Will play the victim when accused.

Aesural (a.k.a. Vale)
Former owner of Notkea, a server revolving around implanting tulpas (visit www.tulpa.info if you don't know what a tulpa is) to control and brainwash people. Creating tulpas/alternate personalities/etc. with hypnosis is an incredibly dangerous thing to do, as there are a million ways it can go very wrong indeed, so anyone doing it is definitely an irresponsible person to be avoided.

Strike Thanatos (a.k.a. The Webweaver)
Attempts to mix erotic hypnosis with therapy (despite being untrained). Does hypnosis unconsensually while pretending to talk about other things. Multiple consent violations and manipulative behaviour.

Sir N. Sorcell (No other names known)
Operates mainly on Twitter. Repeatedly violates consent, knowingly steals subs from other hypnotists. Is very good at charming and manipulating people.

Cutesthypnotist (a.k.a. Freetheyuni)
Operates mainly on Twitter and Discord. Runs cults, addicts people to her, neglects her subs, grooms minors and manipulates people.

Kitsunami (No other names known)
Closely associated with Cutesthypnotist. Violates consent by attempting to make people her sub, persisting even if they say no. Will use gaslighting techniques when called out on her actions.

PlumpieBombshell (a.k.a. PB)
Operates on Discord. Will start a DM by sending you a spiral (usually a custom-made Nimja spiral, though occasionally just one from YouTube) and asking you to watch it. Does not respect consent, very creepy and pushy. Attempts to get personal information from victims while they're under, and make them completely obedient and trusting to her. As well as a predator, she's also a scammer - she will try to scam hypno commissions out of artists, even going so far as to try to brainwash them into giving her freebies, or use other tactics such as going halfsies on commissions and then just not paying her half.

Luna the Fox Lady (formerly Luna the Bunny Lady, a.k.a. @lunahypnoslut on Twitter)
Operates on Discord. Repeated consent violations and other dangerous practices, including attempting to make a sub unable to use their safeword while in trance. Catfishes by posting pictures of porn models and claiming that they're pictures of her.

There are others that have been accused, but I have no proof so I won't post their names here.

I do encourage you to avoid contact with these people as much as possible.
