You would not believe your eyes.

Yes, Yu-Gi-Oh! again. I've noticed from watching the Japanese dub of the anime that some of the characters actually had named special abilities that had nothing to do with cards (though many of them were actually made into cards for the OCG/TCG). So, in the interests of having nothing better to do, I've decided to catalogue them below for your reading pleasure. Note that the names of the techniques were in English to begin with, they haven't been translated from Japanese.

Name: Mind Crush
User: Yami no Yūgi
Effect: This is the only technique whose name was carried over into the English dub (though only used once, whereas the Japanese version has him say the name every time he uses it), but it's rather vague as to what the effect actually is. Ostensibly, it removes the evil in a person's heart, though it's implied that it can only be used if the target is weakened mentally (for example, in the first episode, Yami no Yūgi was unable to Mind Crush Seto Kaiba until the latter was in shock both from losing a duel and from seeing Exodia for the first time), which explains why Yami no Yūgi can't just Mind Crush every villain that he comes across. Note that the explanation for the "Ghost Kaiba" that Yūgi duels in Duelist Kingdom being Kaiba's evil side that Yami no Yūgi banished to the Shadow Realm is only present in the English dub - in the original, the fake is an employee of Industrial Illusions (Pegasus's company, which made the card game Duel Monsters) known as Shino Mono Maneshi, meaning "Imitator of Death", who has the ability to shapeshift - the dub cuts out a brief scene of him assuming Pegasus's face in order to mess with Yami no Yūgi. What happens to Mind Crush victims is also unclear, though the manga mentions that Seto Kaiba was in a coma for a whole year after he was subjected to a Mind Crush. It is also implied that Shino Mono Maneshi and Yami no Player Killer (Player Killer of Darkness, known as PaniK in the dub) were killed by being subjected to Mind Crush.
In a meta sense, the "Mind Crush" in the anime is a substitute for the "Penalty Games" Yami no Yūgi delivered to his opponents after each game he played with them in the manga - the name specifically comes from the one he gave to Seto Kaiba at the end of the Death-T arc. The "Mind Crush" Penalty Game shattered Seto Kaiba's mind into pieces (hence the name), forcing Kaiba to have to reassemble the pieces like a puzzle (this is why he was in a year-long coma). Since the Penalty Games tended to be rather dark, they were left out of the anime, which was aimed at a younger audience than the manga.
Card: The Mind Crush card is a Trap Card. When activated, the player declares the name of 1 card. If that card is in his opponent's hand, his opponent must discard all copies of the card in his hand and Deck to the graveyard. If not, the user of this card must discard 1 random card.

Name: Mind Scan
User: Pegasus J. Crawford
Effect: Allows Pegasus to use the Millennium Eye to read the target's mind.

Name: Mind Card
User: Pegasus J. Crawford
Effect: Seals the target's soul into a playing card, leaving the target a lifeless shell that obeys Pegasus's commands.

Name: Mind Shuffle
User: Yūgi Mutō and Yami no Yūgi
Effect: A counter to Pegasus's Mind Scan, this involves Yūgi and Yami no Yūgi switching minds after playing a card, to prevent Pegasus from reading their minds to find out the cards they played.

Name: Parasite Mind
User: Yami no Bakura
Effect: Attaches a piece of the user's soul to an inanimate object.
Card: Parasite Mind is also a Trap Card, but it only appears in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime. It can only be activated during the opponent's turn. The user of this card selects 1 face-up Continuous Spell Card or Continuous Trap Card on his opponent's side of the field and uses that card's effect in place of this one's (essentially using the opponent's Magic Card against him).

That's all I've seen so far.
