 Time for a little pointless trivia about The Amazing Digital Circus. This assumes you've watched the whole thing, so spoilers.

Pomni was originally intended to be a much angrier character, but after Lizzie Freeman was cast in the role, she was "such a sweetheart" (in Gooseworx's own words) that the character was rewritten to have her anger issues toned down. Gooseworx later expressed regret about this decision, saying that if she could do the series over again, she would like to explore Pomni's angry side a bit more.

Despite exclusively being referred to with they/them pronouns in the series, Gooseworx said that Zooble uses any pronouns. The original release of episode 1 had an error in the subtitles, where Jax's line "Eh, they'll be fine" as Zooble is carried off by the Gloinks (the first time any pronouns had been used for Zooble in the show) was subtitled as "Eh, he'll be fine". Gooseworx confirmed that this was purely a subtitling error, and the script always read "they'll", though Michael Kovach's slurred delivery makes it easy to mishear.

With regard to Jax being transgender, Gooseworx said that it was always supposed to be a "subtle, implied thing", but then she essentially said "fuck it" and made it all but explicit. When asked what name Jax would choose if she was to transition, Gooseworx said that she would probably pick something like Greznedge at first just to fuck with everyone, then change it to something "super gay" like Lily. She also revealed that Leeroy (Jax's real-life counterpart) has grown her hair out and now goes by Lee among her closest friends. As for whether to refer to Jax with he/him or she/her pronouns, Gooseworx has basically said any pronouns are fine, and she herself often alternates using masculine or feminine pronouns to refer to Jax.

On the topic of Jax, it's a common misconception that Jax is Gooseworx's self-insert, which detractors of the character often bring up as a negative point. While Gooseworx has admitted she based Jax on herself, she specifically based Jax on a version of herself who never transitioned and therefore remained caustic and miserable. Jax is more of a dark reflection of what Gooseworx could have been like rather than a representation of her, and she has repeatedly referred to Jax as "a piece of shit".

Pomni's censored swearing in the pilot was done by Gooseworx's sister Payton Goodwin, who also voices the Sun and the Angel in episode 3. As Gooseworx admitted, this was done because she realised she had forgotten to have Lizzie Freeman record the censored swearing, so she had her sister do it and pitched up the recording slightly. Payton was originally considered to voice Pomni, but declined as she didn't feel confident voicing a main character.

The final episode of the series is actually called "Remember", not "The Last Act". "The Last Act" was the name of the movie that combined the second-to-last episode and the last episode together, and people started using it to refer to the final episode before the YouTube upload of it came out and confirmed the official title.

Before the series was even conceptualised, Gooseworx mentioned on Tumblr that Leeroy has always been one of her favourite names. Come the end of the series, and it's revealed that the real-life counterpart of Jax is named Leeroy Matteo.

In response to a Tumblr ask, Gooseworx confirmed that Jax was not being manipulated by Caine when he pressed the red button at the end of episode 7, and him accusing Caine of doing so was just him "avoiding accountability as usual".

When asked what happened to Mike Dobby (the real-life counterpart of Scratch) after the Digital Circus was created, Gooseworx responded that he "died horribly".

While it's only hinted at in the series itself, Gooseworx later confirmed that Caine was the reason that C&A shut down.

As confirmed by Caine's voice actor Alex Rochon, Caine's line "Stay fragnant! Have a good light -- Fragrant! Night! Bye!" in episode 7 was a genuine slip of the tongue on his part which ended up getting included because it fit the scene, and he also debunked theories that the mention of "light" had anything to do with Kinger.

Kinger's line mentioning Scratch in episode 7 wasn't in the scripts that most of the voice actors were given in order to avoid spoiling the surprise. Many of the actors actually learned of the line's existence when teams in charge of dubbing the series into foreign languages contacted them to ask about it, with them initially having no idea what was being referred to.

While the original English dub had Scratch's dialogue being inaudible for his only on-screen appearance in the show, the German dub added a throwaway line for him to the scene because the translators felt it would be unrealistic to not hear his dialogue when he was so close to the camera. This makes the German dub the only version of the series to give Scratch a voice.

As is common practice, many of the foreign language dubs changed some of the jokes slightly to make them work better in the translated language. One change in particular again comes from the German dub, where in episode 3, after the Angel first appears and lets out an unearthly shriek, Kinger (in the original) says "I'm sorry, could you speak up? I couldn't quite make that out." In the German dub, he instead says "Entschuldigung, könnten Sie das wiederholen? Ich spreche kein Französisch." which translates as "I'm sorry, could you repeat that? I don't speak French."
